Rambler Strap by Cam Mackey
Inspired by the West, made for the longhaul
A while back, we teamed up with our friend @CamMacky on our first roughout Rambler strap. It was a different take on what we usually make. We flipped the leather, so the rough, unfinished flesh side faced out instead of the top grain.
Now we're back with a v2 and introducing Horween Waxed Reverse Black Chromexcel.
It takes everything Horween's iconic Chromexcel is known for, then does something unexpected. The top grain stays smooth and unfinished. The flesh side gets dyed black and wax finished. The result: two beautifully smooth sides, a pop of contrast, and one of the most rugged straps we've ever made.

How it's Built
Every stitch.

Looks really good and well done. Shipping to EU was fast (1 week), but unfortunately UPS duty collection was daylight robbery.

Horween leather is the best. Great feel and smells fantastic. Looks great out the box and will only get better with age.
Probably the coolest looking strap I will own. Full stop. I have bought a few straps from Clever and i make my own but this is hands down the nicest looking and feeling strap in existence.
Had a minor issue with my order, Clever Supply was extremely helpful and was quick to rectify the issue. As with their other product lines, excellent quality on this product.

This is a really excellent strap. It actually surprised me. Most leather straps I've used have been quite stiff, whereas this strap is incredible supple and soft. Looks the business as well.
I bought this for my Fuji X-Pro2 as an everyday walk around strap and couldn't be happier. It suits this size of camera perfectly, and the length is exactly perfect to keep the camera from swinging around. Love everything about it.

But the 2 brass bolte on each side are scratching my camera and all the paint is of after 1 week of use not cool !!

Arrived later than advertised, but it’s a Cam Mackey Clever Supply strap, yes it’s the best strap ever.
I got this as a second strap for when I want something longer than my go to strap which is just slightly too short to comfortably wear around my shoulder and slide up to my face and I haven't taken it off my camera since I got it. Shout out Cam and Clever for a dope strap.
