Sidekick Pro 2L

Fits my x100vi perfectly even with the square hood attached. God quality and with soft liners inside. Only thing I wish is that the strap could be a little longer.

I love the bag but the padding for the camera doesn’t allow me to close the bag. So I have to take out the padding in order for my camera to fit in the bag but then I worry about the camera not being protected enough.

The Pro 2L is well made and attractive. The position of the strap loops mean that it doesn't lie flat against my body, which I found frustrating/disappointing. The other problem was of my own making - I wanted to carry my Leica Q in it, but found that using the protective cube then meant that the zip wouldn't close. I can use it without the cube - it fits fine- but then this rather expensive camera wouldn't have the protection that the cube offers. I guess I should have been more careful in my research.

Still haven’t received it or any communication about a delay - very disappointing

Nice bag. Little tight on M11 with 28mm attached, has to lay sideways with an extra 50 on the side. This is likely do to the thickness of the cube padding. It fits better without cube but I don’t trust the safety if I drop it without the cube padding.

Super bummed I bought this full price, and the very next day the spring sale started. I wish they would reach out and maybe give me the discount. But not sure if that’s possible.

Also have their 1/2” short neck strap for m11 with peak connections. It’s amazing! So soft and broken in right out of the box!

Quickly became my EDC bag. Fits my Fujifilm X-E5 with the kit lens attached, along with up to two other compact lenses. Also allowing space to carry other essentials like wallet, keys, sunglasses, etc.

I like the bag so much, I bought a second one. I keep my point and shoot cameras in them. They seem to have enough room for everything I need to carry. Great gear keep it up!

I bought a brown version when it was first launched and loved it so much. Having just bought a new Fuji camera, I bought a black one and it is fantastic. Spacious and well made - the perfect portable camera bag. The new version just released looks even better!!!

I use this as a fanny-pack on my hip.
Clever Supply doesn’t promote it as anything other than a sling, but the strap works very well as a belt. I prefer any weight to be on my waist not my shoulders. I find it perfect for carrying a Leica M with a mere hand strap on the camera. The bag eliminates the need for a shoulder or neck strap. I usually use the bag without the cushion insert, but I’m glad they included it.

This is great for carrying my x100vi! Its well made with high quality materials. I really like the camera cube insert because it protects the camera really well. However, it also causes the bag to be slightly bulky ( compared to other 2L slings).

Im very happy with the purchase though.

This Sidekick Pro is a perfect fit for my Fujixilm X100VI fixed lens, mirrorless camera. There is an outside, zippered pocket, rather tight with the camera in the case, but it fits and can be removed; several SD type I cards, a folded lens cloth, a few Zeiss Lens Cleaning wipe packets. Then, there is s slip pocket on the other side of this case. Inside the case, there are several slip pockets. The inside of the case is well padded; there is also a padded insert. This product is well designed. The materials ans build is excellent. The shoulder strap is adjustable too.

Grabbed the black version from the Kickstarter and after a couple months of use I've come to the conclusion this is a great bag but could be amazing with a few tweaks. I love the simple clean look and the high quality materials.

The interior materials are great and I love the brown color they chose. So many companies just go with gray nylon type material and it can really kill the feel of a bag. The pockets and organization are perfect and it's exactly the setup I look for; just enough to cover EDC items like wallets, earbuds, a powerbank, keys, glasses, and of course a small camera.

The exterior does look really nice but I will say the material feels a little rough. Nothing major as I have confidence the bag can withstand some light weather (especially with the zipper guards) but the exterior having the same smooth feel as the interior would have made it a 10/10. The strap feels really nice and high quality and I love the brown leather badge on it. A magnetic clasp instead of a push in buckle would be nice to have but again not a big deal. The bottom straps are nice but I do wish they were clip buckle like the main strap. On a recent trip I had a rain poncho with me that I had to roll down into a really tight tube in order to get it through the loops. Having buckles would have made getting that poncho in way easier.

Final two things which really hurt this bag for me; to start I wish the interior was just ever so slightly wider to accommodate an iPad mini. It's literally off by centimeters to fit it comfortably. You CAN squeeze it in the back interior pocket, but it's a tight squeeze where you have to insert the iPad then pull the sides of the bag around it to close the zipper. Second, if I want to use this bag as an EDC bag, I like to have that sitting on my chest, but with the straps sewn in at the sides of the bag, it means that wearing in chest mode will cause the bag to float off of you and the strap will bend at a weird angle, making it slightly uncomfortable. Because of that I think the bag works better on your back or in fanny mode. Adding in some swivel hardware or even moving the straps to the top corners would have went a long way to making this more chest wear friendly. They have a swivel for their bigger camera bag, and I think that would have been perfect for this. Many companies have tried to figure out a way to make a bag work for both fanny and crossbody, but I don't think anyone has truly nailed it. Usually a bag performs better in one mode or the other, and this one goes more towards fanny.

So overall, I really do like the bag a lot. I think they got a lot of things right but here's the TDLR of tweaks I think would make this perfect

- Make the bottom straps clip on
- Make the bag JUST slightly bigger to accommodate an iPad mini comfortably
- Give the straps a swivel or change the sewn in location so the bag can sit on the chest at a better angle
