Sidekick Pro 2L

I first saw this bag in a video of a camera YouTuber, and just went in blind. So happy I did! I bought it for my Fuji XT4, but then curiosity struck, and I wondered if it would hold my GFX 50s ii - with ease! Ease of fit depends on what lens you have attached, though, in this case, the GF 50mm f3.5. Plenty of room for batteries and cards. Phone pocket is a little shallow with my OnePlus 12, but I bought this for my camera. (;

It just arrived in the mail and I am super happy with this bag. I got the tan, it is a little darker than anticipated but it looks amazing and subtle: just what I was looking for. It fits my Canon RP perfectly, alonv with a spare battery and if I want an extra lens beside the 50mm 1.8.

The quick release buckle is very useful, it prevents from having to loop the strap over your head everytime. And the strap is adjustable too.

It definately is much better than all other slings I have owned in the past.

I have been looking for a way to hold my camera with an attached lens setup for a while now. A lot of bags that I’ve tried were either were too big or the dimensions were too short to fit or to comfortably pull the camera in and out. My current camera setup is a Sony A7iv + 24mm 1.4 GM and it fits PERFECTLY in this bag. I’ve taken this out hiking, bike riding, and just walking my dog around the neighborhood and it feels so good to carry around. I used to get a little self conscious walking around with just my camera strapped around my neck exposed in public especially going out with my kids, having to bend down or pick them up while trying not to bash my camera as it swings around my body. With this bag, it’s sturdy and easily adjustable to all your movements. The best thing about having this bag is that I can literally carry my camera everywhere with me now. Discreet, comfortable, and easily accessible!

Overall, it's a great little bag that serves multiple purposes. During longer travel, it acts as a camera cube that I can insert into my backpack, that I can then take out to use as my camera sling once I'm at my destination.

There are really only two things that keep this from being a perfect little bag for me:
1. Because of the shape, when I have it forward across my chest, it looks a little like I'm carrying a football, even when there's nothing inside of it.
2. The quick release buckle is great for easily taking the bag off. But since it only comes off on one side, it adds some bulk when I'm using it as a camera cube within a different bag.

The Sidekick Pro 2L has delivered on my expectations 110% as the EDC camera bag I’ve searched for now over 5 years‼️ The size is exactly what I was hoping for with just the right amount of space and high quality, well-thought out features that make it a joy to use. Thanks Team 👍🙏🙏‼️

The material is high quality and soft. Everything feels premium. The size is perfect for my Fuji x100t including a lens hood and strap. With the padding installed I can still fit more stuff like batteries or whatever. The bag is the perfect size and I love the option for more padded protection. I didn’t think I’d like the seatbelt strap but I was wrong. It’s soft and very high quality feeling. I love how I can wear this around my shoulder or as a hip bag. The one thing that worries me is the grommet connection of the straps to the bag. It looks a little delicate and I’m worried about it breaking with heavy use, but so far no signs of that.

Great look, solid construction, unbeatable price. 10/10.

The new improved rotating strap makes the bag sits in a better position nearer to the body when carrying. Wish they make it just a little bit more in carrying capacity would be great like maybe a 3L.

Perfect fit

I own both versions of the Sidekick Pro 2L. The new version has a bit more room and a swiveling strap. These little things make a big difference plus when I had an issue it was resolved easily and immediately.

After buying my Leica Q camera I knew I wanted a small, durable and attractive leather sling-type bag with a few small pockets but not too much extra room. Clever Supply had precisely what I was looking for, and when I received it my expectations were exceeded. This small Sidekick is perfect for my Q and my needs!

Incredible craftsmanship, Incredible and thoughtful design from a photographer’s perspective, fantastic value for the money.

This bag has been fantastic so far! I’ve been using it to carry a Fuji X-E5 with a 33mm f/1.4 lens, two extra batteries, and a variable ND filter. It’s comfortable to wear either as a waist bag or crossbody. However, since I have to use it without the Clever Cube, I would definitely recommend adding some padded material to the bottom of the bag. This would help protect the camera and lens if the bag is placed on the floor or any hard surface.

Perfect bag to take with me if I just want to have my camera around, but not have it be the main focus. Great materials and build quality, and just looks amazing on top of it all. Highly recommend!

I love this bag, i dont leave home without it

I bought this for my Sony RX1R III, and i love it. The extra padding on the inside gives me a lot more confidence that my camera is protected as i drag this bag around everywhere with me. On the inside, i keep my camera in the extra padded spot, and a Sony BC-TRW charger with 3 batteries to thr right of it. Its a perfectly snug fit.

Perfect for the days when i just want to take one smaller camera such as my fujifilm x100vi.
When i want to be a minimalist and capture moments as they unfold.
Im also travelling to San Francisco in September so this back will be on me almost the entirety of the trip.

I was looking for a small bag that could carry my compact camera along with an extra battery and filters while I'm out and about in the city. This bag suits those needs perfectly, when I don't feel like bringing my usual sling bag. The materials are genuinely great and the zippers feel robust. I'm very happy with my purchase. Also, I'm a huge fan of the tan color on this bag, as I find its muted browns very stylish.

The one caveat I find with the Sidekick Pro is the lack of some sort of hinge where the strap meets the bag, like Clever Supply's own Camera Sling. The straps come straight out of the bag, making it ideal for crossbody-carry or using it like a fanny pack, if you're into that kind of thing. However, sometimes I like to carry my slings on the same side as my shoulder strap instead of crossbody, but due to the way the strap is connected to the bag, it doesn't really allow the bag to remain upright (zipper side up) when carrying it this way, making it slightly inconvenient to access and now wider (since the bag, when upright, is taller than it is wide). Wasn't a dealbreaker for me, but leaves me hoping that in the next version of this bag, there will be something like a hinge to allow the bag's strap to pivot.
